After the T20I series, both India and South Africa will play against each other in the three-match ODI series. The 1st ODI match will be played on 6th October at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The second match will be played in Ranchi on Sunday (October 9) before the teams shift to Delhi for the third and final game of the series next Tuesday (October 11).

Shikhar Dhawan will be leading the side in the ODI series where a bunch of youngsters have been added to the squad. Notably, India have handed maiden ODI call-ups to Rajat Patidar and Mukesh Kumar for the series against South Africa. Three of India’s T20 World Cups standbys – Shreyas Iyer (vice-captain), Ravi Bishnoi and Deepak Chahar – feature in the squad, alongside Shahbaz Ahmed, who earlier replaced an injured Washington Sundar in the ODI series in Zimbabwe but didn’t get a game.
