India will take on Australia in the third and final ODI of the three-match series in Chennai at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. After a defeat in the first ODI, Australia made an excellent comeback in the series to win the second ODI by a 10-wicket margin. Australian bowlers had an eventful day, as they bundled out the hosts on a mere 117, the Indian batters had no response to Mitchell Starc early on with the new ball, Starc grabbed a brilliant 5-wicket haul while Sean Abbot and Nathan Ellis picked 3 wickets and 2 wickets respectively. The third and final game promises to be an exciting affair with the series up for grabs.

For India, Virat Kohli scored 31 runs while Axar Patel added 29 to help India cross the 100-run mark. Some of the Indian batters need to stand up and contribute in this all-important decider. Suryakumar Yadav hasn’t been able to replicate the form he showed in the T20s and has the lowest average among the Indian batters. Australian batters, on the other hand, made the chase look simple, they got to the total without losing any wickets. Mitchell Marsh continued his excellent run with the bat and smashed 66 runs while Travis Head contributed with a well compiled 51 runs.
