Rashid Khan hit a six and four in the 19th over from Chahar and changed the game on its head
Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. CSK got an early setback as Devon Conway was cleaned up by an in-angler from Mohammed Shami. Moeen Ali walked in and was aggressive from the get-go. Ruturaj and Ali stitched 36 runs partnership, they smashed the ball to all parts of the ground and looked like they would take the game away from the home team.

Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami, and Alzarri Joseph scalped two wickets each with Joshua Little a solitary one. The Caribbean bowler was taken to the cleaners in his first over but made a strong comeback. A brilliant 17th over from Deepak Chahar meant that 30 runs were needed from the 18 balls. It came down the line with Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia in the middle.
