England will host New Zealand in the first of three-match Test series starting on June 2 at the Lord’s in London. The second Test will get underway from June 10 at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham while the third and final is scheduled to begin from June 23 at the Headingley in Leeds. The England vs New Zealand Test series 2022 will also mark a new era as Ben Stokes will take over as the captain for the hosts while Brendon McCullum will begin his red ball captaincy journey. The visitors, meanwhile, played a couple of warm-up matches in their preparation to the series with New Zealand captain Kane Williamson set to lead the side after an elbow injury had kept him out of the international set up for quite some time.
