The third Test between England and New Zealand will be played at Headingley in Leeds, starting June 23. England currently lead the three-match series by a 2-0 margin and won the series with one game in hand as well. The first Test took place at the Lord’s Cricket Stadium in London. The game was finished in four days where an intense battle took place between bat and ball as England emerged victorious on the fourth day under Ben Stokes’ captaincy.

As far as the second game is concerned, England successfully won over New Zealand. England won the toss and opted to bowl. For New Zealand, Daryl Mitchell (190) and Tom Blundell (106) smashed tons and helped the side put up a decent total of 553. England batter Ollie Pope (145) and Joe Root (176) too scored centuries before they were bundled out for 539, courtesy of Trent Boult’s fifer. However, the Kiwis could manage only 284 runs in the second innings and England chased the total with ease on the back of a stunning century from Jonny Bairstow (136) and a fifty from Ben Stokes (75) as well.
