Stuart Broad has dismissed David Warner 13 times in the Ashes, the most he has dismissed any player in his Test career.
The Sydney Ashes Test between Australia and England started off with an extended rain delay in Sydney. When play resumed, David Warner and Marcus Harris started off well. Warner looked in good touch with a couple of boundaries off James Anderson and Stuart Broad. Harris, who had scored 72 in the Melbourne Ashes Test on a tough pitch, looked in solid touch. After another rain delay, Warner came out aggressively to hit three fours off Ben Stokes in two overs. But, when Stuart Broad came back, Warner fell for the trap again.
Broad bowled a full ball outside off that nipped away at the last moment. Warner went for the drive and the edge flew to Zak Crawley at gully who completed the catch. The fifty-run opening partnership was broken. For David Warner though, it continued his nightmare run against Stuart Broad. It was the 13th time that Broad had sent back Warner in the Ashes. This is the most time he has dismissed a batsman in his playing career.
Ever since the duo started playing against each other in the Ashes, Stuart Broad has dominated Warner right from 2013. The first time Warner fell to Broad was in the 2013 Ashes contest at Chester-le-Street in Durham. In that match, Broad took 11 wickets to ensure the Ashes stayed with England. When England toured Australia in 2013/14, Broad managed to dismiss Warner twice in Brisbane and once in the Adelaide and Sydney Tests.

It was in the 2019 series that Broad truly had a hold psychologically on Warner. Broad dismissed Warner seven times in the series, with the left-handed batter managing only 95 runs in the five-match series. Now, in the Sydney Test of 2022, Warner has fallen for the 13th time in Tests to Broad. In addition to Tests, Warner has fallen twice in ODIs to Broad which was in 2013 and 2015. Warner has fallen to Broad once in Twenty20 Internationals, taking the number of dismissals to 16.
When it comes to bowler and batter combination, Warner is not in good company. The bowler who has dismissed one batter the most number of times in Tests is 19. That feat is held by Glenn McGrath against Mike Atherton. In fact, Atherton has fallen 17 times to Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh when the West Indies were dominating in the late 80s and early 90s. Here is the list of the most number of dismissals by a bowler against a batter.
