The 11th match of the Commonwealth Games 2022 will take place between South Africa Women and Sri Lanka Women at Edgbaston in Birmingham on August 4, Thursday. Notably, Women’s cricket has been included to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) which has been taking place at the Edgbaston Stadium since July 29 and it will run until August 7. On the other hand, the bronze and gold medal matches will be played on August 7 as well.

Both teams are currently struggling with their forms. While South Africa lost their last five T20s, Sri Lanka lost four and managed only one win that too came against India in their last home series. However, both teams will try to give their best in their next game as well.
