Comilla Victorians will take on the Khulna Tigers in the 32nd Match of the Bangladesh Premier League 2023 on January 31, Tuesday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. The 2023 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is slated to take place from Friday, January 6 to February 16 as well. The Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram and Sylhet International Cricket Stadium are all set to host 46 matches in this edition of the tournament as well.
The tournament will be played in a round-robin format from January 6 to February 10. Thereafter, the Eliminator, 1st Qualifier, 2nd Qualifier and final will take place in Dhaka as well. Comilla Victorians, Rangpur Riders, Dhaka Dominators, Khulna Tigers, Fortune Barishal, Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Strikers are the seven teams taking part in the T20 league in Bangladesh. Notably, the Victorians are the defending champions as they beat the Fortune Barishal by one run in the final in Dhaka last year. However, a lot of players from Pakistan have been taking part in the BPL. Unmukt Chand, who shifted his base from India to the USA last year, has been playing for the Chattogram Challengers as well.
