The first of three one-day international (ODI) matches between Australia and Pakistan will be played in Brisbane. The match will begin at 10:05 a.m. local time on January 16th. In the one-day internationals, Meg Lanning will captain Australia, while Bismah Maroof will captain Pakistan. Both teams have a history of excellent performances and are certain to put on a good show.
Beth Mooney and Meg Lanning are two of the best batters in the world right now. Given that both bats in the top order runs from them increases Australia’s chances of victory greatly. Pakistan women are also a strong team, but defeating Australia in Australia appears to be a tall order given how the Australian women have dominated world cricket. Players like Bismah Maroof and Sidra Ameen must have outstanding series if Pakistan is to upset Australia.
