Cricket Australia have announced a busy schedule for the 2022-23 season.
Cricket Australia on Monday announced a busy schedule for the men’s and women’s team for the 2022-23 season. The season will see Australia play 28 Test and limited-overs internationals against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, West Indies, England, South Africa and Pakistan stretching from late August to the end of January. Australia’s tour of India is scheduled for September which includes three T20Is while the women’s team travels to India during December for a series of five T20Is against their opponent from the most recent T20 World Cup final.
Some of the important aspects of Australia’s 2022-23 season will also include, the return of international cricket for the first time since 2019 in Perth, as per an official statement while South Africa’s three-Test campaign to begin in Brisbane and include appearances at the MCG and SCG, the first time the Proteas have featured in Boxing Day-New Year Tests since 2008-09.

The schedule given below does not include the warm-up matches. Meanwhile, the finalisation of the domestic schedule for Australia which will include tournament dates for the Weber WBBL and KFC BBL competitions could be finalised in the coming weeks.
