The inaugural edition of the UAE’s International League T20 will start on the 6th of January and finish on the 12th of February, 2023. 34 matches have been scheduled to be played across different stadiums in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Several of the ILT20 franchises are owned by Indian companies like the Knight Riders Group, Adani Sportsline, Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited GMR Group and the owners of Manchester United Football Club, Lancer Capital, are also on the list.

The Playing XIs can have a maximum of nine overseas players and at least one UAE local and one associate player. All the matches in the tournament will take place in a round-robin format before the playoffs and then the all-important finals. The six teams participating are Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, Dubai Capitals, Sharjah Warriors and Desert Vipers. The tournament will see all the international players participating in it and promises to be very entertaining along with some high-octane drama set to unfold.
