On Sunday, Tommy Fury and Jake Paul’s exhibition boxing battle finally took place, and it was well worth the wait as the British boxer defeated his opponent. The younger brother of well-known boxing legend Tyson Fury, Fury was crowned the winner after eight rounds. Given how extensively the fight was promoted and how many people were watching to see how things turned out, Twitter had a field day following Fury’s victory through split decision.

Tommy Fury made a commitment to break Jake Paul’s unbeaten streak in boxing, and in Saudi Arabia, he delivered on that pledge. Following two unsuccessful attempts to schedule the fight, Fury (9-0) and Paul (6-1) finally entered the ring. Tommy won the hand in a close vote to maintain his perfect record in his professional career.

Following the Fury-Paul fight, many individuals expressed their opinions on Twitter. These are some of the better ones. One of the first commentators on the battle was YouTuber KSI, who said neither fighter had impressed him.

On Sunday, Paul entered the ring for the first time with a genuine boxer, but things didn’t go according to plan. Paul was prepared with some justifications for the defeat right away and declared he disagreed with the judges’ verdict. He has a rematch provision in the fight agreement with Fury, which is fortunate for him, so a second encounter is undoubtedly feasible.

Despite their bad blood prior to the fight, Fury possessed only respect for Paul afterward.

Since his entry into combat sports, Paul has faced intense animosity from spectators, the media, and other competitors; therefore, it should come as no surprise that many people rejoiced in his demise.

Not everyone immediately mocked Paul for his failure. Odell Beckham Jr. was one of several people who said they were pleased by the young boxer’s display in the ring.

The battle finally took place on Sunday after several months of postponements and cancellations, with Fury giving Paul his first-ever defeat by a “real” fighter.
