Jake Paul is set to take on the toughest test of his boxing career later this weekend. He will go up against the MMA legend Anderson Silva on October 29 at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Ahead of his fight against Silva, Paul has received some advice from the man who has fought ‘The Spider’ before, Israel Adesanya.

The UFC middleweight champion has himself beating Anderson Silva in the UFC back in 2019. However, he has warned Jake Paul before his fight. During a recent appearance on Jake Paul’s sports talk show, Israel Adesanya urged Paul to be careful in his fight against Silva. He said:

“Bro you gotta be careful. I think Logan DMed me a while ago and he was gonna fight Silva and he kinda asked me my opinion. And I was like, ‘If you take this fight, take it seriously ’cause he is no joke.’ Silva is a mastermind man! When you meet him, he is a friendly guy. He’s cool, he’s a humble dude… But when it comes to war, he is a savage. He is from the streets bro!”

Can Jake Paul beat Anderson Silva?

‘The Problem Child’ has had a pretty good run in the world of boxing so far. He is undefeated as a pro-fighter with five wins and four knockouts. However, it is worth noting that he hasn’t fought someone like Anderson Silva before.

Anderson Silva is a seasoned striker and despite his age, he is a big threat for anyone he fights. However, ‘The Spider’ is not a pro-boxer. He trained in MMA for the majority of his life and even though he is a very good striker, it is not his first sport.

This factor along with Jake Paul’s youth could play a major role in determining the outcome of the fight. While the odds are pretty close going into the fight, Jake Paul might just get the biggest win of his career this weekend.
