Jake Paul took on Anderson Silva in his sixth professional bout last night. While it was indeed the toughest challenge of his career, ‘The Problem Child’ showed his heart and fought through eight tough rounds against the MMA legend.

Moreover, Paul knocked down Anderson Silva in the final round of the fight to walk away with a unanimous decision victory to his name. After registering the biggest win of his career, ‘The Problem Child’ was asked about what’s next for him in a post-fight interview.

Interestingly, Paul called out yet another MMA legend and UFC veteran, Nate Diaz for a fight. Moreover, he also went ahead and called out Canelo Alvarez for a potential matchup. He said: “Nate Diaz, stop being a bit*h and fight me and Canelo, you too, you too Canelo. You guys said, ‘Oh, you can’t beat someone, you can’t beat a striker, you can’t beat a legend like Anderson Silva.”

It’s safe to say that Jake Paul is aiming for a big fight against Canelo Alvarez. However, a fight against the Mexican seems to be a little too far fetched at the moment. But Nate Diaz can most certainly be the one to take on Paul next.

Can Jake Paul become a world champion in boxing?

‘The Problem Child’ has spoken about his goal of becoming a world champion multiple times. However, Paul is just six fights into his boxing career and becoming a world champion is completely out of the picture as things stand right now.

That said, if Jake Paul continues to improve in a way that he has over the years. And sticks to the sport for many more years to come, he could potentially land himself a title shot. However, for that to happen, Paul will need to fight legitimate ranked “pro-boxers” instead of MMA fighters.
