The three Corrientes-based clubs that will compete in the next National Basketball League (LNB) continue to get ready for a rigorous season. Prior to the commencement of the official tournament, communications from Mercedes, Regatas, and San Martn started a fresh week of training yesterday and are preparing for the first friendly matches. Because they will also be a member of the South American League, which begins on Friday, September 30, the clubs from the capital will face double competition. The first game is set to take place this Thursday, November 22 in Bella Vista, between Comunicaciones and San Martn. On Saturday, El Rojinegro will perform once more, this time at the Fortn, when La Unión de Formosa will pay them a visit. Regatas Corrientes will play Communications at Mercedes on Sunday, according to arrangements. The South American League will start in Barranquilla, Colombia, on Friday, March 30.
