The Slovenia vs Serbia 2022 International Friendly Games match will take place on August 17, i.e on Wednesday. This Tuesday, in the first pre-Eurobasket friendly to be played in Germany, the Czech Republic, Georgia, and Italy, Greece and Spain square off in Athens, the Olympic city and the birthplace of European basketball. Sergio Scariolo will assess his players against the Hellenic squad, captained by the two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, at the OAKA sans Alberto Dáz, Jonathan Barreiro, Miquel Salvó, and Héctor Alderete. The Greek squad will be measured once more on Thursday, this time at the WiZink Center in Madrid, as Spain begins a tour of up to four games. 

The family will then play Lithuania on August 16 in Gran Canaria, and two days later, in Vilnius, they will play each other again in a friendly match. Later, immediately prior to the commencement of the Eurobasket, Scariolo’s team will compete in two World Cup 2023 qualifying games against Iceland in Pamplona on August 24 and the Netherlands in Amsterdam on August 27. Spain will compete in the opening round of the European Championship against Bulgaria, Georgia, Belgium, Montenegro, and Turkey.
