The combined 53 points from Janis Berzins, Grzegorz Kulka, and Ray McCallum weren’t enough. Kulka and Berzins both contributed 8 rebounds. In the BCL regular season, Galatasaray has won seven of its past eight games. In addition, they have scored over 80 points in each of their seven home games during the competition’s regular season. Following Start Lublin in 2020–21 and Ostrow Wielkopolski in 2021–22, Legia Warszawa is now the third Polish team in Basketball Champions League history to drop its opening two games. After losing 81-84 to Hapoel Holon in their BCL debut in Round 1, Galatasaray is presently leading Group C 2-0, while the opponents are 0-2 overall.
