Skyforce entered the event with his six-game win streak, the longest since the 2018-19 season opened with him 6-0. They went 7-1 at home and 10-6 overall in the Showcase qualifier portion, securing just a few seats in the Showcase tournament and delivering $100,000 to the winning team. The team that didn’t qualify for the tournament portion of the Showcase played its two games in Las Vegas, with Sioux Falls earning its first win on Monday night.

The Miami Heat affiliate extends his winning streak to seven with his 108-91 victory over Greensboro and takes on Delaware Wednesday night. After the showcase, the team record will be reset to 0 wins and 0 losses, and the G League regular season will begin on December 27th with all 32 games. Skyforce’s next home game is set to take on Ontario at the Pentagon on New Year’s Eve. As expected, guard DJ Stewart was a key figure in Sioux Falls’ success, averaging 21.6 points on shots from the floor, making up 55.6% of his floor shots.

Michael Mulder has appeared in all 16 games for the Force and is averaging 15.9 points, while Jamalie Bouillah (15.7 points) and John Elmore (8.4 points, 4.7 assists) have held steady. Jamaal Kane (16.6 points, 7.4 rebounds) and Drew Smith (17.0 points) fluctuated between Miami and Sioux Falls and were impressive in uniform.
