Zacharie Perrin’s double-double performance of 18 points and 13 rebounds, along with 11 other players scoring in all, helped France upset Germany 74-51 as they continued their strong team play. Noam Yaacov led Israel past Poland with a nearly triple-double in their 65-58 victory thanks to a strong individual performance. The point guard led the team to the last eight with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. Three other players scored in double digits. Italy held Greece to single digits in the second and third quarters as they defeated Greece 64-55 with an advantage of up to 21 points. While Greece was missing important player Alexandros Samodurov, Niccolo Moretti and Matteo Visintin both produced 15 points and 6 assists.
