Jordan Poole is an American professional basketball player who currently plays as a shooting guard for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. The 22-year old is all of 6ft 4 inches and weighs around 88kg. Poole has emerged as one of the brightest young prospects in the league in recent times.
Jordan Poole was born on 19th June, 1999 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Monet Poole and Anthony Poole. He began his basketball career at the Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. But Poole later made a switch to the La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana. It was in 2017 when Poole decided to enroll himself in the University of Michigan where he played for the Michigan State.
After playing at Michigan State for two full seasons, Poole declared himself for the NBA draft in 2019. He was selected by the Golden Warriors as their 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 draft. Ever since then, the 22-year old has also gone on to play in the NBA G-League in the year 2019. But Poole’s talent and abilities have seen him getting placed as a regular with the first team over the 2021-22 season.
