In the San Miguel Beermen’s comeback victory over the Converge FiberXers, 111-92, on Sunday in the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City, CJ Perez recorded a triple double performance. In the All-Filipino conference, Perez contributed 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists to SMB’s fourth victory in five games. The Beermen scored 34 points in the second session against Converge’s 23 points to conclude the first half at 62-39 while playing without Chris Ross, Vic Manuel, and Terrence Romeo. It was difficult for Converge to mount a comeback in the second half since they had their largest advantage, 57-26, at the 4:02 point of the second quarter.
