Toros will take on Vaqueros de Monteria in the LPB Colombia match on December 6. Caimanes de Barranquilla topped the BetPlay Cup, Colombia’s professional baseball league, with a 10-run-5 win over Vaqueros de Montería at the Edgar Renteria Stadium on Friday. With the win, Barranquilla’s ninth team went 4-2, while the Vaqueros remained 3-3. Tigers he’s 3-2, Toros he’s 1-4. The Cowboys take the lead in the first. The run was accomplished by Darwin Pomares brought in by Pavel Manzanero. The crocodile tied it last. A run by Fabian Pertus scored, and a sacrifice fly from third base scored by Mauricio Ramos.
By the end of the fourth, Caymanes had made five runs. Mauricio Ramos, who received a free ticket, won the RBI with a sacrifice flight from Leandro Emiliani. Dilson Herrera, who moved to first on a third-base error, scored on Robinson Cabrera’s single. Carlos Martinez, who reached on a right-field error, reached the plate on Gustavo Campello’s single. Cabrera and Campelo, meanwhile, were scored by Fabian Pertus’ double. The local team won the match 6-1.
