Canberra will go against Geelong-Korea in the Australia ABL on December 2. Determined to surpass the Australian Baseball League results of the past four seasons, Canberra Cavalry has assembled a world-class squad for the 2022-23 season. The Cavalry were runners-up in 2017–18 and reached the semi-finals again in 2018–19 and 2019–20. In the 2020-21 season, the Cavalry finished the season in 3rd place before his COVID-19 forced an early exit. Of course, the 2021/22 season has been canceled due to COVID-19. Keith Ward is the manager this year and Robbie Perkins is the captain. Cavalry general manager Sunny Singh says he has genuine optimism ahead of the Sydney Blue He Sox opener at MIT Ball His Park He at Narrabundah on November 10. “We spent a lot of time reviewing the roster during the offseason,” says Sunny.

“We’ve been getting closer in recent seasons and the improvements we’ve made should help us get over the final hurdle. This season’s hiring committee will work well together to achieve the best possible results.” We challenged each other. She recruited two players from the US Major League Associations, two of her from the Japanese team Yokohama BayStars, and five or six of her individual players from around the world.“We have a lot of players who have gone through the Canberra development program,” says Sunny. “We’re looking forward to seeing some young blood on the team, with players like Sam Kimory and Cam Tilley returning after stints in the US system.” The popular Kamwarner is also back. Cavalry includes community partnerships with supporting projects that help develop the club. One such partnership is with Region, a company with similar community values.
