Yaroslava Oleksiyivna Mahuchikh, popularly known as Yaroslava Mahuchikh, is a high jumper who represents Ukraine in track & field events. She is the world indoor reigning champion, having won the gold medal in Belgrade 2022. In addition, she is a two-time World championship silver medalist and the Tokyo 2020 bronze medalist. She also claimed the high jump competition at the European Championships held in Munich. As a result of which, she is also the current European champion.

She won the gold medal in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games and was the under-18 world and European champion. She set a new junior world record while winning the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships. Just a few days after escaping the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Mahuchikh won the high jump gold medal at the 2022 World Athletics Championships (Indoors) in March. However, her journey wasn’t easy. She had to travel 2000 kilometers by car over three days from Ukraine to Serbia in order to compete in the competition.

Mahuchikh has been a long time partner of Puma and Omega. She has been part of the organizations’ campaigns and activities. On August 24, 2022, she was spotted at the Puma headquarters in Herzogenaurch. A few weeks later, Omega welcomed some of the biggest Athletics stars to an exclusive visit at the brand’s headquarters. Along with Mahuchikh, Yulimar Rojas (Venezuelan triple jumper), Gabrielle Thomas (American sprinter), Dalilah Muhammad (American 400m hurdler), Lieke Klaver (Dutch sprinter), Noah Lyles (American sprinter), Thomas Röhler (German javelin thrower), Femke Bol (Dutch 400m sprinter and 400m hurdler), Ajla Del Ponte (Swiss sprinter), Keely Hodgkinson (British 800m runner) were a part of it.
