Mujinga Kambundji is a Swiss Olympian who was born in Bern on June 17, 1992. Her mother Ruth is a native of the Bernese Oberland and spent her young years on the same farm where her grandma is still a resident now. Safuka, the father of Mujinga, has roots in the Congo. Mujinga made her debut at the 2014 Zurich European Championships when she garnered people’s attention with her remarkable performance and beautiful smile.
