India’s one of the grandest running festivals Tata Steel Kolkata 25K (TSC 25K) is slated to be held on December 18, 2022, at the infamous Red Road in Central Kolkata. On September 24, Procam International, a leading event management company, announced that the registrations for the race will begin from September 26 from 7:00 am onwards and open until November 30, 11:59 pm IST.
This race is also regarded as an Elite Label Race by World Athletics. The event which originated in Bengal and inspired a running revolution in eastern India, is a celebration of humanity that is embedded in the culture of the city. This year’s event has a more significant connotation that emphasizes optimism, faith, and belief that things will get better from here, #NotunJoshNotunRun.

The Tata Steel Kolkata 25K will take place on December 18 at 7:00 am. The race will be held in five different categories namely, 25K, Open 10K, Ananda Run, Senior Citizens Run, and Champions with Disability.
One can register themselves for the competition through the website, tata steel kolkata 25k.procam.in. The categories that will be present in the TCS 25K are as follows:
1) 25K
2) Open 10K
3) Ananda Run – 4.2 km
4) Senior Citizens’ Run – 2.3 km
5) Champions with Disability Run – 2.3 km
For encouraging the participation of women, a certain number of spots will be reserved for the 25K and open 10K races participants.
The winner of the marathon will be rewarded with USD 100,000 as the prize money. T10 Sports, the event’s Sportswear Partner, will provide confirmed 25K participants with a race day tee-shirt, while the fastest 500 men and women runners in the open 10K category will get a finishers tee-shirt.
