After a two-year hiatus, the Bajaj Allianz Pune Half Marathon has scheduled its third edition on November 27, 2022, with registrations already open. The race will begin at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Balewadi, Pune. The prize money has been increased from INR 21 lakhs in the second edition to about Rs 28 lakhs in the third edition. The race has also set aside Rs 10 lakh in prize money for men and women who break the national records in the half marathon division. The half marathon is divided into four main categories: the half marathon (21.1 km), a 10 km run, a 5 km run, and a 3 km run (family and fun).

Pune Half Marathon: History
The inaugural edition of the half marathon (2018) attracted over 15,000 registrations, and the second, held in 2019 attracted over 20,000 running enthusiasts. Double Olympic medalist Dr. Jack Daniels and legendary American distance runner Ryan Hall were brand ambassadors for the Bajaj Allianz Pune Half Marathon in the first edition. While Kenyan Janet Cherobon-Bawcom, the Boston Half Marathon 2011 winner was the brand ambassador in the second edition (2019).
