Indian long jumper Murali Sreeshankar will be back in action as he makes his debut at the Monaco Diamond League 2022. He was aiming to make his first appearance at the Stockholm leg in June but had to pull out due to travel issues for the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA. The youngster is coming off a brilliant Silver medal in the Long jump at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
He will be in the list alongside reigning Olympic long jump champion Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece and also the World No.1 in the sport. Other stars at the Diamond League will include world champions Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jackson, Noah Lyles and Faith Kipyegon. Frenchman Erwan Konate, the two-time world U20 champion and rising star Mattia Furlani of Italy will also be in the fray on Wednesday in Monaco.
Monaco Diamond League 2022 will be telecasted live on the Sports18 1 and Sports18 1 HD TV channels in India. On BBC Three, with coverage also available on the iPlayer in the United Kingdom. The meet will be streamed live in the US on Peacock from 2-4 p.m. ET. ALL TIMES US EASTERN Wednesday, August 10 12:30 p.m. ET.
