Commonwealth Games 2022: Live Streaming, When and Where to Watch, Schedule, Indian contingent

The Commonwealth Games 2022 will run from July 28 to August 8 in Birmingham, United Kingdom with 72 nations expected to participate.

The Commonwealth Games return to England for the first time in twenty years as Birmingham plays host to the event after London in 1934 and Manchester in 2002. The inaugural edition took place back in 1930 in Hamilton, Canada but has risen considerably globally over the years. In 2022, 72 nations and around 6,600 athletes are expected to participate.

India will be making its 18th appearance in this edition sending a 322-member squad for Commonwealth Games. In the last edition, India finished third only behind hosts Australia and England. The list includes the likes of Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, badminton’s World No. 7 PV Sindhu and 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Manika Batra. India will participate in 15 sporting disciplines with four disciplines in the Para Sports category.

Commonwealth Games 2022: When and Where to Watch

Fans can watch the World Athletics Championships 2022 live in India on the Sony Sports Network having the official telecast rights in the country. The events will telecast live on Sony Six SD/HD and Sony Ten 2 SD/HD. You can follow the live stream on SonyLIV app and website.
