Delhi Capitals (DC) is having an on and off season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 with the team winning five and losing six of the 11 games they played so far. Inconsistency has placed the Delhi side at the fifth position in the table. Their playoff chances have taken a hit after losing to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 91 runs but looking at the season’s trend, they might bounce back in the very next game.
DC were bowled out for a meagre 117 runs in their match against CSK in the IPL match at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai on Sunday. After being put in to bat first, CSK batters thrashed DC bowlers all around the park and registered a total of 208/6 with brilliant displays from Devon Conway (87 from 33), Ruturaj Gaikwad (41 from 33), and Shivam Dube (32 from 19).
