COD Mobile Season 4 is just around the corner and some major changes are coming to the multiplayer and Battle Royale modes. The developers might have ignored the Battle Royale mode in the past, but with Season 4, it might change. Leaks suggest major updates are coming to the open-world mode.
The new season will introduce a lot of new content across all modes. New legendary characters and weapons are also said to be added in Season 4: Wild Dogs.
Several leaks regarding the upcoming update are doing rounds and pointing towards major changes for the Battle Royale mode. In COD Mobile Battle Royale, players often opt for the hip-fire mechanic to take down enemies at close range. However, the latest leaks suggest that hip-fire is getting a huge boost coming season.

As per the leaks translated from Chinese, the ‘Hip-Fire mod’ for all weapons will be nerfed. It also has the legendary variant of the mod. The hip-fire accuracy of the mod will differ as per the attachments on the weapon.
Furthermore, the general hip-fire of a weapon in Battle Royale will also witness alteration. Besides, continuous hip-firing will be nerfed if players continue firing without aiming down sights. The accuracy of the weapon during hip-fire will drop during gunfights using SMGs.
Major changes are also coming to different classes such as Trap Master, Rewind, and Medic. These classes can be expected to be meta in the coming season. However, in solo lobbies, Trickster and Poltergiest will still be the first choices for a majority of players.
Assault rifles including HVK-30, DR-H, Peacekeeper MK2, and Chicom will also see major changes. Chicom is also getting a huge buff in multiplayer and is expected to be one of the meta weapons in Season 4. The new season will be launched on April 28, 2022, during the usual update hours in different regions.
