AEW superstar Wardlow has been on a tear ever since his rivalry with MJF took off and he does not want to stop there. According to the man himself, he just doesn’t want to win matches or titles but rather, he would want to be the reason why people tune into AEW.

The big man was being interviewed by Forbes when he said, “I’m very in tune with numbers, and my main goal for AEW is, I want to be the reason we have more viewers. I want to be the reason the female viewership goes up. I want to be the reason that the 18 – 49 demographic goes up. I want to be the reason our ratings are higher. I know I can’t do it on my own. It takes help from the other young talent. It takes help from the legends and the guys coming over, but I want to be one of the guys that are moving the needle for this company.”

Wardlow reveals what he learnt from MJF

Wardlow has been receiving a push in terms of his career and it’s fair to say that he has not disappointed. He first started off as MJF’s bodyguard and was with him through thick and thin, right from their time in the Inner Circle with Chris Jericho to their union with FTR, also known as The Pinnacle. MJF does come off as someone who is a very hard individual but Wardlow has revealed that he has learnt a lot from him.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Wardlow told how MJF is just good at making the most of any situation and just the business side of things. When asked what he learnt from MJF, Wardlow answered, “I think the biggest thing is just the business aspect of things. Like knowing your worth and making sure you are getting the most out of situations. He has a really good mind for the business and storytelling. So, I think the biggest thing is just the business aspect of it and then things that make sense. Things that truly do or do not make sense as far as storytelling.”
