Hook, who is now regarded as one of the best talents in the industry, will make his independent debut next month, according to AEW. On May 14, the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil will participate at Create a Pro’s The Grand Stage event in Melville, New York. Tickets for that performance go on sale tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Hook has gained quite the cult following since his initial appearance on the 16 December 2020 broadcast of AEW Dynamite, with only six matches under his credit. The 22-year-old immediately aligned himself with his father’s Team Taz stable, brooding menacingly in the background until ultimately making his in-ring debut on the AEW Rampage episode of December 8, 2021.

Hook demolished Fuego del Sol in his debut, and he’s since defeated Bear Bronson, Aaron Solo, Serpentico, Blake Li, and QT Marshall, all in under five minutes and all via submission.

While Hook’s six bouts too far have all been quick, clinical affairs, it’s his overall aura and outstanding skill that has made him a must-see talent each time he appears on AEW television.

Hook’s debut in AEW

On the November 25 episode of Dynamite, during a segment where Taz and Cody Rhodes had a heated argument, Taz attacked Cody Rhodes from behind with his Tazmission after Cody questioned Team Taz’s quality due to Taz’s son training with Cody and not with his father’s group, Taz attacked Cody Rhodes from behind with his Tazmission. Hook made his live debut escorting his father out of the ring during his father’s escape. Hook was revealed as the newest member of Team Taz on the December 2 episode of Dynamite.

Aside from the fact that he is a second-generation superstar and the son of ECW great TAZ, nothing is known about the AEW homegrown talent. Hook is one of the hottest new talents and at his age, he can gain various achievements with his talent.
