Since the start of Double or Nothing weekend, MJF has made headlines for a variety of reasons, including missing a meet and greet and dropping a pipebomb on “AEW: Dynamite” on Wednesday. Throughout the media scrums following the Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View, Wrestling Inc.’s Nick Hausman asked Tony Khan about the MJF predicament. Khan, on the other hand, instantly declined to comment. Khan again failed to remark on the MJF situation while on Busted Open Radio. Khan stated, “I can’t comment on that part. I would say it was a great night overall.”

Khan then talked about some of the high-profile Warner Brothers Discovery guests that came to see “AEW Dynamite” this week. Khan said, “It was a big deal to be there with a lot of the top executives from TBS and TNT, including a lot of executives who have come over now in the merger between Warner Brothers and Discovery. A lot of great folks from Discovery that we’re getting to know now and hosted us and not only attended AEW: Dynamite last week, but threw us a great party afterward.”

According to reports, Warner Brothers Discovery ordered MJF to stop doing promotional activity in AEW. MJF has also been dropped from the intros of AEW’s two television series, “Dynamite” and “Rampage.” Before delivering the pipebomb promo on “Dynamite,” MJF wrestled at AEW’s Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View the Sunday before when he faced Wardlow, whom he held under contract in the narrative, preventing Mr. Mayhem from signing with All Elite Wrestling. Wardlow would be eligible to join the AEW roster if he won. That was the stipulation going into their bout. Wardlow won the bout by dropping ten powerbombs on MJF. Wardlow faced JD Drake in his first match since being announced as “All Elite” on “Dynamite” this past Wednesday, the same program MJF cut his pipebomb promo, which culminated with him begging to be fired.
